A script is a small program that carries out predefined tasks for you. I create scripts for organising files, combining spreadsheets and preparing reports, tailored to your company's workflow.

Organised documents How it works
invoice.pdf product.jpg sale.csv
The script executes the established rules. It recognises the file type and chooses the destination folder.
Documents Photos Spreadsheets

You set the rules. The program repeats the actions.

What can a script do for you?

If you regularly perform the same steps on similar files or data, it's worth exploring whether they can be automated. Here are a few examples.

Organising files

The script sorts files into folders or renames them using a consistent pattern. We agree what it recognises and which files it leaves for review.

What do you gain?

Instead of transferring each file individually, you run one task.

Combining and validating data

Data from several spreadsheets is combined into one report. The script aligns the agreed columns and flags missing data or duplicates.

What do you gain?

You receive organised data and a list of items requiring attention.

Repeatable reports

The script calculates results according to established rules and stores them in a pre-defined layout. For subsequent reports, you simply replace the input data.

What do you gain?

You don't repeat the same calculations from scratch.

One folder. Everything in its place.

Click the button to see how a script sorts sample files by type. Files outside the agreed rules are left for you to review.

Sorting a folderExample using fictional files

Before running the script

All files are in one folder.

  • invoice-may.pdf
  • product.jpg
  • sales.csv
  • contract.pdf
  • note.xyz

Rule: PDF → Documents, JPG → Photos, CSV → Spreadsheets. Other files → For review.

After running the script

The sorted files appear here.
Select ‘Sort files’.

This example uses fictional file names and cannot access files on your computer.

Simple to run. Clear rules.

You do not need to know how to code. Before implementation, we agree where the script gets its data, when it runs and where it saves the result.

You start the task

You use a shortcut or button. If required, I can configure it to run at an agreed time or when a file appears.

You check the result

The result is saved in the agreed folder, with a completion message. Missing data and unrecognised files are flagged for review.

You stay in control

We agree how to work on copies and how to disable the schedule. Stopping future runs does not undo changes already made.

Where does your script run?

On your computer while it is switched on, or on a server if the task needs to run independently. We choose the setup before starting. Any server cost is quoted separately.

From a manual task to a working tool.

Show me an example of the task. I define the scope and quote, build the script, and then we check the result together using your data.

What do you receive?

  • A script that performs the agreed task
  • Configuration on the agreed computer or server
  • Tests with valid data and cases that need attention
  • Instructions and a demonstration of how to run the task and check the result
  • Client portal access to track project progress and agreed details

A script for your workflow

I agree the scope, rate and maximum billable hours before starting. The hourly billing terms below apply to implementation and testing.

What should you tell me?

Tell me what you do manually, which files you use, how often you do it and the result you need. That is enough to start the conversation.

‘Every Friday I combine sales spreadsheets from three branches. I need one file with a summary and a list of missing data.’

Questions before implementation

Do I need to know how to code?

No. I provide a predefined launch method, such as a desktop shortcut or a simple button. I show you where to add files and where to find the result. You don't need to edit the code.

Does my computer have to be turned on?

Yes, if the script runs on your computer. For scheduling, the computer must be available at the scheduled time. If the task is to run independently, I will verify its feasibility on the server and provide a maintenance cost.

Will the script change my original files?

We agree on this before implementation. We can work on copies and save the results in a separate folder. Moving, overwriting, or deleting files requires clearly agreed-upon rules.

What if the file is incorrect or the sheet layout changes?

The script checks agreed requirements, such as whether the required columns are present. If anything is missing, it reports the problem instead of inventing data. Adapting the script to a new layout is quoted separately.

Does such a script require AI or a paid API?

AI isn't needed for file sorting and calculations based on fixed rules. If a task requires a connection to an external program, I check API access (how data is exchanged between programs) and any fees. I inform you about these before starting.

What do you repeat at work every week?

Describe the action. I'll check if the script can perform it for you.

Describe your task

Pay for actual hours — up to an agreed cap

EUR 35 net per hour

Before work starts, I agree the scope, hourly rate and maximum billable hours with you. If I finish sooner, you pay less. If the agreed scope takes longer, I absorb the extra time.

  • Agreed cap: 10 hours. Completed in 6 hours: you pay for 6 hours — EUR 210 net.
  • Agreed cap: 10 hours. Completed in 12 hours: you pay for 10 hours — EUR 350 net.

Additional tasks outside the agreed scope require a separate quote and your approval before I start them. Extra time needed to complete the original scope does not increase your bill.

You receive a summary of the time worked. The cap covers my fee for the agreed scope. AI usage, hosting, hardware and paid tools are separate costs, which I explain and agree with you before purchase or activation.
