Improving an existing store
I worked on an existing WooCommerce store, combining improvements to the shopping, catalogue, and technical support areas. Each change addressed a specific issue within the live site. The scope included the buyer view and the data flow needed for daily sales management.
Checkout and the purchase journey
I made adjustments to the purchasing process and order form. This work focused on the areas the customer passes through during the checkout process. Validating such a change requires assessing its functionality within the ordering process, including the fields and information required for completion.
Mobile navigation
I improved the store's mobile navigation. Accessing the offer and navigating between website elements on a small screen requires a customised layout. This scope of work focused on everyday store use by users browsing products on their phones.
Catalogue and ERP data
I worked on product data and synchronisation with the company system. Maintaining a link between catalogue items and information used in sales management was crucial. Therefore, store development also encompassed the data flows behind the public offering.
Performance maintenance and diagnostics
I handled updates, maintenance, and performance diagnostics. Identifying the problem allowed me to tailor a fix to a specific element of the website. The collaboration resulted in the development of the existing store in the areas of shopping, mobile, catalogue, and technical support.
