Product data checks and ERP exports
I have prepared audits of product data completeness and Excel exports that make it easier to fill in gaps.
Audit of what is actually in the catalogue
I developed scripts that check product data completeness in the ERP, including weights, dimensions, identifiers and packaging details. They produce a clear list of missing fields, each linked to the correct product.
Identification by name, SKU and EAN
Exports correlate the product name with its SKU and EAN. Data reviewers can find the correct item even when similar names appear in multiple variants. Linking identifiers helps transfer findings from the spreadsheet back to the catalogue.
Product and packaging parameters
I've included available product and packaging data in the reports. This information is important for preparing offers and handling deliveries. The report highlights fields that require review so that anyone completing the catalogue can access the correct source materials.
Excel as a task list
I prepared Excel exports for the person responsible for product data. Each row includes the product identifiers and selected fields. The report organises work on missing information and supports review outside the ERP interface.
Missing information stays visible
Missing values are flagged explicitly and require confirmation at the source. The audit shows the status of information in the catalogue; the correct parameters must be determined based on documentation or measurement. The results of my work are scripts and reports that indicate what specifically needs to be added.
Scope of implementation
- Verification of weights, dimensions and product identifiers.
- List of names, SKUs, EANs and packaging data.
- Explicitly flagging deficiencies instead of replacing them with invented values.
