I created a program for downloading PDF documents and organising the invoice archive by document type and date.

I created a program that downloads invoices from IDEAerp and saves PDF documents in a structured archive. Sorting by document type and date makes it easier to find the right file later. I designed the program to download a larger range of documents in subsequent batches.
Batch downloads and an overnight schedule
I added scheduled downloads within an overnight window. Batching and limiting concurrent operations help control ERP load. Archiving can run when the system is less busy.
Checking the downloaded file
The program checks PDF files before deeming them successfully downloaded. Simply starting the download or seeing the file appear isn't enough to complete the work on a given item. This check is crucial during long runs and system outages.
Resume without repeating valid downloads
I've developed a mechanism to recognise correctly saved documents. After an interruption, the program can continue working, skipping files it already has. This allows you to return to archiving without re-downloading the entire selected range.
A working tool and a tested process
The program is ready, implemented, and operational. It retrieves and organises documents from the ERP account within the selected scope. It enables repeat archiving, control of saved files, and resuming work after interruptions.
